Jussara Martinelli

200hr YTT, Prenatal YTT, Yin YTT, Birth Doula

 

Jussara began her practice 25 years ago and has been teaching yoga since 2014. Her mindful yoga practice is infused with a sense of flow, breathe and ease. She guides students on their own journey toward being in the present moment, with a sense of inner joy, freedom, self-healing and spiritual growth. Jussara teaches Hatha Vinyasa Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Prenatal Yoga, Baby Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Yin Yoga and Mindfulness. She is a 200 RYT registered in Yoga Alliance, and she studied 200 YTT and Mindfulness with Yoga Farm Ithaca as a Radiant Warrior, a 200 hour teacher training of Hatha Vinyasa Yoga in Brazil with Camila Heitz, a Prenatal YTT with Cris Balzano and Veena Mukti in Brazil and is studying a 300YTT. She is also a DONA Birth Doula.

Natalie Stebbing

200hr RYT, 80hr RPYT, HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator, Infant Massage instructor, Birth Doula (BSc Midwifery)

 

Natalie is passionate about all things Pregnancy & Birth!  As a former midwife she uses her knowledge as well as experience to educate, support and empower families as they journey through this transformative time.  Natalie focuses on building strength and stability to support our minds and bodies in everyday life - on and off the yoga mat.  As a disabled person herself (she is legally blind), Natalie is dedicated to enabling all and every body(ies) to acheive their full potential without judgement or discrimination.  Compassion not Criticism has become a daily mantra for her.  She loves traveling and exploring new places and new foods.  Originally from the UK, Natalie lives in Calgary with her husband and three children. 

Dawn Robinson
200hr YTT, PYTT

"One day while studying for a big exam I needed a break and decided to try a yoga class at a nearby studio. I had tried a few random classes before but nothing consistent. I rolled out my mat uncertainly and fumbled through the class. I didn’t know the names of the poses, couldn’t touch my toes and my muscles were wound tight from years of running. But none of that mattered, I was hooked! It felt like a moving meditation, the first time my mind slowed down and I felt truly connected with my body. Yoga truly is a union of body, mind, and spirit, an ever-shifting balance on and off my mat that I am always learning from. It is equally humbling, challenging and empowering. The shifting roles and perspectives of my life and my experiences as a mom, holistic nutritionist and pastry chef continue to deepen my understanding of yoga and the many ways it can be integrated wholistically. In 2014 I completed my 200-hour Akhanda YTT in India with World Conscious Yoga Family. I have additional training in Seniors YTT with Kristen Beaulieu and Pre/Postnatal YTT with Amy Bidrman. My personal experiences with injuries and mental health help me to share with humility and an open heart my love for yoga in its many forms. I believe the benefits of yoga, conscious movement and connection with our bodies and breath can be enjoyed by everyone, no matter their age or physicality. Om, Shanti."

Bhavna Bhasin
300hr YTT

Bhavna's journey into Hatha yoga started in early 2006 from student to teacher certified through Yoga for Today's teacher training program. She continues her journey and path to discovery immersing herself within the practices of yoga, while developing a greater appreciation for its theories and principles. She has come full circle with what she sees as the first chapter of her yoga journey. Always a student first, she continues to grow and learn about herself while strengthening, stretching and challenging her body. She guides her classes with the intention of creating a safe space for her students to discover their true authentic minds, bodies and spirits. Her favourite pose is pigeon pose. Her preferred practice started with hot flow in 2002; and after having two beautiful daughters she now slows down with heated yin. What she loves most about this practice is there is no "end" or perfect pose. The more she learned and integrated these practices into her daily life, the clearer it was that she found a passion and purpose to share this practice with anyone who asks. Through intention, meditation, pranayama and asana her goal is to have her students leave each class feeling refreshed, energized and renewed. Come breathe with Bhavna. Namaste.

Cher Compton

"My journey into the practice of yoga started back in high school, and by 2007 it had become part of my weekly routine. My practice evolved in 2008 when I was pregnant with my first son -- I discovered a deeper connection with my baby-bump when I came to my mat. Prenatal yoga strengthened the bond between babe and I, and better prepared me for labor & delivery, which enlightened me on the benefits of this style of yoga. Since then, I have embraced yoga through life's ups & downs as it always has a way of bringing balance and harmony to my life. In 2015, an epic journey to Peru for a yoga retreat was the catalyst for my personal desire to become a yoga teacher, so that I could share these benefits with others. I completed my 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training, 85-hr Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Training, 50-hr Kids Yoga Training, 30-hr Yin Yoga Training, and most recently a 108hr Yogini Path Immersion to dive even deeper. Am always looking for ways to deepen my practice through other workshops, courses, and classes. I bring in a philosophical element to my guided sessions, as I truly believe yoga unites us on a level that surpasses the physical sense. I love being in a space filled with the positive energy of other yogis, and am passionate about creating that space within the community here."

"Hi, my names Nicole and I'm a Fitness Instructor/ Trainer with a specialty in Pre & Post Fitness, Holistic Nutrition Consultant and mama to a little one. I understand the demands of motherhood and complete exhaustion which is why staying healthy and active is so important. 

It can be hard to find time for exercise, however, when we prioritize our health, we can better serve our families and perform the everyday activities a lot easier. When it comes to movement, I believe in training the body functionally to meet the everyday demands of life.
My goal is to help clients achieve a balanced lifestyle that incorporates a holistic approach - connecting mind, body and soul. I want to share my passion with other mamas and encourage a happier lifestyle, helping you realize what your body is capable of."
