Our Friday evening sessions offer an hour of coming together to connect with other mamas, empower yourself through simple + impactful nutritional awareness, and nurture your body mind and Soul through yoga, meditation and positive affirmations. Each week, we will go deeper with our connections as we explore various topics related to nutrition, wellness, and the journey of motherhood.

Week 1 - September 1

During the first week, we will focus on gentle yoga poses that help to ease postpartum discomfort and promote healing in the body. We will also provide you with nutrition guidance that emphasizes whole foods, hydration, and adequate protein intake to support recovery.

Week 2- September 8

In week two, we will continue to build on the foundational yoga poses from week one, and incorporate more strengthening and toning exercises to help restore core strength and stability. Our nutrition focus for this week will be on foods that support hormonal balance and help to promote healthy lactation for those who are breastfeeding.

Week 3 - September 15

In week three, we will introduce more challenging yoga poses that focus on building endurance and stamina, while still prioritizing the needs of your healing body. We will also discuss strategies for meal planning and preparation that can help make healthy eating more convenient and sustainable as you navigate the demands of new motherhood.

Week 4 - September 29

Finally, in week four, we will bring everything together by offering a full-body yoga practice that incorporates all of the poses and concepts we have explored throughout the series. We will also provide you with tips and strategies for maintaining a healthy, balanced diet as you continue to adjust to life as a new mom.

Throughout the series, we will provide you with resources and support to help you prioritize your own self-care, and to help you feel confident and empowered in your postpartum journey. Whether you are a first-time mom or a seasoned pro, we believe that this series has something to offer for everyone who is looking to prioritize their own health and wellness during the postpartum period.

As a mother of two adolescent boys, she's experienced the highs & lows of parenthood, which is why she brought Dragonfly Maternity to life. Building relationships and having a place where moms & parents can be supported in a variety of ways, is the true essence of what Dragonfly is about.

"In the early days of being a first-time mom -- along with the joy & excitement, I also felt a lot of anxiety, isolation, and depression. It was my connection to others and the support that I felt through relationships -- my family, friends, and new moms that I was forming friendships with -- that got me through those tough times. Connection with others is so important for our emotional & mental well-being; which is why I believe that holding the space for us mamas is so instrumental on this journey -- holding space to experience healing, rejuvenation, education, inspiration, laughter, tears... the full range that can emerge when we come together!"
