About The Event

Welcome to "Embodying Motherhood"! A weekly postpartum group to support mothers at any stage; through connection, education, and healing practices.

February 2024 session: Wednesdays at 10am - 11:30am | Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28

Topic: Sound Healing and Vibrational Therapy for Motherhood Presenter: Becky Belanger, Reiki Energy Healer and Spiritual Hypnosis Coach

Join Dragonfly Maternity and BirthWyse Inc as we take a look at the powerful healing effects of Sound Healing & Vibrational Therapy for the postpartum journey.

This month’s guest is Reiki Energy Healer + Spiritual Hypnosis Coach, Becky Belanger from True Wisdom. She’ll be joining us to start off our month by sharing about the realm of Sound Healing and offer a sound bath with her crystal bowls. Through our 4-week session, we’ll continue to explore how Sound Healing & Vibrational Therapy can be integrated into daily living for deep healing at a cellular level.

These tools will equip you for parenthood by blending in self-guided practices that you can implement in the moment, as well as practices that allow you the time & space to step away from the external world and go within to your place of serenity.

Key areas of our group:

Maternal connection   |   Tools + resources   |   Referral network   |   Ceremony and ritual

A variety of themes will be covered through the year, with four live sessions per month (in studio and online options available) and virtual check-in's between each session to offer continued support. At the start of each month, we'll be inviting guest speakers in from the professional community to talk about various topics of motherhood, share their expertise in their field, and answer questions from the group. Each week, we'll be building upon that theme with tools & resources to support the topic, discussions around what is coming up individually + collectively through motherhood, ways to implement the practices into daily living, and rituals & ceremonies to embody these resources through all levels of our Being -- body mind and soul.

For upcoming themes that we’ll be exploring through the year, and to sign up for future sessions, 2024 event listing here!

Meet your facilitators:

Nattalia Walkker (she/her) is a warm hearted, compassionate space holder. Interactions with her and her offerings cultivate a true sense of being seen, listened to, supported and warmly embraced. She offers these gifts of care through her role as a Mother, owner/operator of BirthWyse Inc, and as a Numa Somatics BreathWork Practitioner/trainer.

Cher Compton has been guiding others on their healing journey through Yoga & Meditation since 2016, with certifications in 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training, 85-hr Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga Training, 30-hr Yin Yoga Training, 50-hr Kids Yoga Training and 108hr Yogini Path Immersion.
